Wings Over Washington
Your seat lifts, your feet dangle, and Washington unrolls beneath you - coastline, forests, mountains and waterfalls, shot with 5K cameras from helicopters and thrown around you in projection. It is entirely indoors, loading runs continuously through the day, and anyone 42 inches and up can fly.

The Story
Wings Over Washington was built with Super 78 - the studio behind Sasquatch Mountain - together with Kyle Griffith, and opened in 2016. Laser projection and 5K aerial footage carry you over the state’s coastline, forests, mountains and waterfalls, all without leaving the pier.
W.G. Clark Construction built the theater it flies in, and Yessian designed the audio that moves with you. A decade on, it’s still one of the must-do experiences on the pier.

Before You Fly
Accessibility
Fully indoors with continuous loading, and no real altitude or exposure — anyone 42 inches and up flies. Access can be gained from the elevator west of the line. See a ride operator for more details.
Rider Requirements
Minimum height — 42 inches
That is 107 cm. Anyone that height and up flies, and there is no exception to this one.
If you are expecting
Speak with your doctor before you book. Your seat lifts, your feet leave the floor, and the motion arrives without warning.
Mist, scent and light
The flight carries facial misting, three scents, sudden weightless motion, and bright flashes of light.
One rider, one seat
Every rider needs a seat and a restraint of their own, so infants cannot fly in a carrier or on a lap.
